Fight Terrorists with Hypnosis

Contributed October 10, 2001
By Frank Abernathy

Title: Hypnotize the
Terrorists

I saw a movie where a person hypnotized another one and told him that when the hypnotist did a simple task, e.g. lighting his cigarette lighter the subject should immediately pick up the chair he's sitting in and bash the hypnotist over the head with it. When the hypnotist did another simple task, for the sake of argument say it was snapping his fingers, the first action would be immediately canceled. The session ended with the subject being told not to remember anything except the commands. The hypnotist tried out his commands and they worked perfectly, much to the dismay of the subject. I wonder if these sleeper terrorists have been programmed in much the same way.
They say you cannot force someone to do something against their will, even in hypnosis. But if the person has been brain washed from an early age, they may decide that suicide would be a good thing if only they had the courage. Perhaps hypnosis gives them that courage to act. One of the hijackers was
captured before he could blow himself up. I think they should hypnotize him and see if he was given any sleeper commands. Perhaps we could use this command to flush out other terrorists.
