3-D Printing Spurs Manufacturing Revolution
September 15, 2010 - An outgrowth of computer design driven rapid prototyping, 3D printing, is giving rise to a string of never-before-possible businesses that are selling prosthetic limbs, surgical and dental implants, along with phone cases, lamps, doorknobs, jewelry, handbags, perfume bottles, clothing and architectural models.
