Registration

In order to use some features of the Websites, a user must first complete a registration form. All registrants must be over the age of 18. Surveys & Contests

From time-to-time our site may request information in conjunction with user contests. Participation in these contests is completely voluntary and restricted to adults over the age of 18 – a user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. VI. Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality

Inventors submitting inventions for review ("Submission") agree to the Confidentiality Agreement here. The Confidentiality Agreement may change from time to time. The Agreement in place at the time of Submission is effective for that particular Submission. In all circumstances users are responsible for the information they disclose ("Disclosure"). Invention City, Inc. does not require Disclosure and any Disclosure is made at the discretion of the user; the obligations of Invention City, Inc. and the resolution of any and all disputes that may result from Disclosure are defined and guided solely by the terms of the Confidentiality Agreement.

VII. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

By visiting InventionCity.com, you agree that the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Conditions of Use and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Invention City or its affiliates. Any dispute relating in any way to using a Invention City website or to products or services purchased through InventionCity® shall be submitted first to mediation in Barnstable Massachusetts and if not resolved then to binding arbitration in Barnstable, Massachusetts, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate intellectual property rights owned or used under license by Invention City, Invention City may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.

VIII. GDPR Compliance

Your user information may be transferred to other countries in connection with your use of the Site. If you access or use the Site outside of the United States, your user information will be transferred to our servers in the United States.

Invention City is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf.
